Rio Grande is an Elite Hanoverian Stallion who competed very successfully at the international level of show jumping under CET member Eric Lamaze. Rio qualified for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Rio was the winner of his stallion performance test with an excellent score of 135 points. His offspring, who are very highly regarded by many of Canada's top professional riders, have started to compete with excellent results in the show jumping and hunter ring.
