Rainman born in 2000 is a Bay Hanoverian gelding by Rio Grande,
out of Girlfriend. Rainman is extremely athletic, with very good
basic gaits and correct conformation. He has a nice temperment with
a calm, easy going attitude.
His sire, Rio Grande, won his performance test with a final score of 135. Rio
Grande is by the superior stallion Rapheal, out of a Windhuk mare. Rio Grande
is himself a highly successful international show jumper with many successes,
including qualifying for the 1996 Olympic games. He is the sire of many hunter
champions, advanced dressage horses, and grand prix show jumpers. Rainman's
dam line goes back to the famous jumping sires Grande and Gotthard.
Rainman is an excellent hunter/jumper prospect. Should mature
