Genji means "gold" in Chinese, and it just seems to fit.
This filly is the full sister to our lovely mare Grace who was the
champion 4 year old jumper and sold to the Canadian Olympic rider
Eric Lamaze and is now being showned by Lisa Jacquin in the US.
We are hoping that she will follow in her sisters footsteps.
Ginsberg was vice champion of the 1996 Verden approvals. He substantiated
his high rating due to his excellent jumping ability. His sire,
Graf Grannus, made a big impression as a sire right from the start,
presenting 4 approved sons from his first crop of foals.
The dam of Genji is Miss Ellie, by Maurice (Matcho AA). Maurice
was the winner of his stallion performance testing. His character,
rideability, and gaits are all excellent.
Genji's bloodlines go back twice to Matcho AA, this french Anglo
Arab started his stud career in Germany, and was winner of his stallion
performance test in 1982, Matcho AA has produced over 30 approved
sons and 126 states premium mares.
