Congratulations Susan, I think you have bought
yourself a superstar
Danica starts her career with 2 ribbons,
Show Champion and Champion Filly
Danica means "Morning Star" an unbelievable filly, with
all the good looks and correctness you could want. By far one of
the most promising foals ever to be born at our farm.
Carrera her dam, has grown up
with all the potential we were hoping for and will be shown in hand
at this years Hanoverian inspection in August. She will be started
under saddle this winter and we expect to show her in the 4 yr old
Jumper program next year. Carrera's dam Fatima by Falkland scored
10's in jumping in her performance testing and we are hoping Carrera
will do the same.
Dr. Pepper, Danica's sire is
by Drosselklang II by Don Carlos/Frustra II, out of Grenadine
(Genever/Pik Koenig) a spectacular 16.2 H young stallion with incredible
presence, type, and exceptional movement. As a foal he won the Hanoverian
Verband inspection championship, and was declared a "Top Stallion
Prospect" by the well known and respected "Dr. Ludwig
Christmann".
Dr. Pepper our stallion, is the only son
of Drosselklang II in North America. Drosellklang II was declared
"Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2001" after producing
many international level jumpers such as: "Dorincord",
ridden by Canada's own Ian Miller at the Sydney Olympics: "Donnerlitchen",
under Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum was Vice-Bundeschampion of German
Show Jumpers: "Don Oscar" was Dobrock Champion: "Dorain",
under Karl Heinz Markus became Vice World Champion of young show
jumpers at Lanaken: other offspring at International level are:
"Dobels Frechdachs" under Otto Becker, "Skyboy"
and "Delany", both ridden by Rodrigo Pessoa, "Boeckmann's
Bella Donna" under Gilbert Boekmann.
Dr. Pepper then went to win Show Grand Champion at the 10th Annual
Sport Horse Breeders Show, in Blainville, Qc., under the judges
Eve Mainwaring from Brockville, Ontario, and Dr. Ingvar Fredrickson
from the Swedish State Stud.
