Gina is a beautiful 16H gray Hanoverian mare by Genever,
out of a Pik Koenig dam. Gina is of modern type, with lovely expressive
gaits and a wonderful temperament. Gina was imported in the fall
of 2000, in foal to Drosselklang II, with her kind and gentle temperament
she quickly became a favorite in the barn.
On June 2nd, 2001, Gina delivered a colt by Drosselklang II. This
colt, named "Dr. Pepper",
won the Verband Inspection Championship, and was declared a top
stallion prospect by Dr. Ludwig Christmann. Dr. Pepper then went
on to win "Grand Show Champion" at the 10th Annual Sport
Horse Breeders Show in Blainville, Quebec. Dr Pepper now stands
as a licensed Canadian Warmblood stallion at our farm
Silvio is another outstanding
son of international jumping star Sandro, The bottom side of Silvio's
pedigree has also greatly influenced showjumping through the bloodline
of Gepard / Gotthard. Silvio son Shutterfly has made international
showjumping news since 2001under the guidance of Meredith Michaels
Beerbaum. Shutterfly won the 2001 In 2004 Shutterfly was first in
the Spruce Meadows Nations Cup, the Riders Tour-Wertung, and the
CSI**** , the World Cup CSIO in and the World Cup Amsterdam/NED.
Silvio has sired many notable offspring. Tettina was European champion
at the international mare show in Brussels in 1999, while another
daughter, Toviana was reserve champion at the same event. Sir Louis
was reserve was German National Young Horse Championship star Sergeant
Pepper in 1996. Sternstunde was reserve champion of 6-year-old jumping
horses at the FEI World Breeding Championships in Zangersheide in
1999.
