Fully accepted into the Hanoverian Jumper Program
A spectacular 1998 StPrSt mare by Lacantus. Lara stands
16.2 and passed her performance test with and overall score of 8.11
Scoring 8 and 9's in rideability and jumping and 7 and 8 in gaits.
Lacantus,
her sire, was 3rd out of an exceptionally strong group of stallions
at his performance test in Adelheidsdorf. He received a top evaluation
for jumping on a course, with a score of 9.5. Lacantus won four
times out of as many starts in riding horse competitions, receiving
9.5 for his quality of movement.
Sandro, her dam sire, was a successful international
show jumper under Franke Sloothak, he transmitted his type and excellent
jumping ability. The Holstein er stallion Sandro was one of the
first licensed stallions ever to earn his reputation in sport.
He was originally stationed in Denmark but was later obtained by
Paul Schockemohle and under Franke Sloothaak, Sandro posted career
earnings of DM 55,000. At the World Equestrian Games at The Hague
in 1994, Sandro was represented by three offspring--making him one
of the world's most influential sires of show jumpers, including
Paradiso, Sagrat, Sandro Song, and Safari, etc. To date, he has
produced over 40 licensed sons, incuding Silvio I. A filly by SiIvio
was the highest priced foal ever sold at the PSI auction, Silvio
IIl, Sandro Song, Salido Z, and the Hanoverian stallion Sao Paulo.
Silvio is another outstanding son of international
jumping star Sandro, Sandro is also the sire of Sandro Hit, a notable
dressage influence whose offspring also maintain performance ability.
