"Dream Big" a super nice bay filly by Dr Pepper out of
SPS Lara Croft by Lacantus / Sandro
Born May 20th at the very reasonable hour of 9:00 pm, and perhaps
Lara's finest foal to date. Fully sister to last years filly Dacquiri
and 3 yr old Dagobert
it looks like Dr.
Pepper has produced another top foal. A tall leggy filly with
4 equal white socks and a big star and correct conformation. The
foal is very healthy and strong
SPS Lara
Croft is a spectacular mare by Lacantus / Sandro. Lara stands
16.2 and passed her performance test with a super overall score
of 8.11 Scoring 8 and 9's in jumping and rideability along with
7's and 8's in her gaits.
Lacantus,
her sire, was 3rd out of an exceptionally strong group of stallions
at his performance test in Adelheidsdorf. He received a top evaluation
for jumping on a course, with a score of 9.5. Lacantus won four
times out of as many starts in riding horse competitions, receiving
9.5 for his quality of movement.
Lara's dam sire Sandro, was a successful international
show jumper under Franke Sloothak, he transmitted his type and excellent
jumping ability. The Holsteiner stallion Sandro was one of the first
licensed stallions ever to earn his reputation in sport.
He was originally stationed in Denmark but was later obtained by
Paul Schockemohle and under Franke Sloothaak, Sandro posted career
earnings of DM 55,000. At the World Equestrian Games at The Hague
in 1994, Sandro was represented by three offspring making him one
of the world's most influential sires of show jumpers, including
Paradiso, Sagrat, Sandro Song, and Safari, etc. To date, he has
produced over 40 licensed sons, incuding Silvio I. A filly by SiIvio
was the highest priced foal ever sold at the PSI auction, Silvio
II, Sandro Song, Salido Z, and the Hanoverian stallion Sao Paulo.
