This is our 2nd Stolzenberg foal we have purchased
and now Riviera is
also in foal to him for 2008. Purchased directly from the breeders
of Grannus.
The stallion Stakkato is still on everyones mind,
as breeders are looking for the perfect combination to match with
him and perhaps the quality of Sandro in the 2nd generation of this
Stakkato son will bear the fruit everyone is looking for. Stakkato
selected Hanoverian stallion of the year 2007
Stolzenberg amazed everyone with his quick leg, technique
and scope at the 2001 Stallion Licensing, where he won the Winergy
Best Jumper, and the title "Premium Stallion". A 1999
16H 1" dark bay stallion, Stolzenberg proved his performance
under saddle and was Reserve Champion of the 2002 Stallion Performance
Test with a score of 132.26, 114.6 in dressage (10) and, of course,
winning the jumping section 141.88. His sire, Stakkato, is the top-listed
jumping horse sire for competition horses in Germany.
As a sire, Sandro has also been a considerable success,
with three of his progeny competing at the 1994 WEG in The Hague
– Sandro Song (Ante Smlesa), Safari (Michael Abo) and Paradiso
(Rolf-Göran Bengtsson). Sandro is the sire of more than 40
licensed sons, the most successful being Silvio 1 and II, Sandro
Song, Sao Paulo, Sandro Boy and Salido Z.
Successful competitors include; Salido Z (Debbie Stephens),
Sagrat (Guy Goosen), Sakrus (Debbie Winkler), Sympathico (Ersting-Engemann),
Silas M (Yanix Elad), Sheila and Sundance Kid (Franke Sloothaak)
and Santorin F (Fritz Fervers) and of course, the World Cup Champion,
Sandro Boy
