Flair is the perfect example of trying to breed both Jumper and
Dressage into 1 package. As you can see in her breeding the bloodlines
have always been from stallions that produce both jumpers and dressage
horses. Flair's mother is in the Hanoverian Jumper program scoring
a combined 9.5 overall.
For Edition won the 2003 Stallion Performance Test with excellent
scores in both dressage (132.83 - 3rd) and jumping (134.16 - 2nd);
with almost every score 8 or above. Joachim Winter, leader of the
Stallion Testing Station said about him, " He always wants
to be correct. This handsome bay 16.1H bay stallion is the embodiment
of great performance, which will be passed to his foals. "
His sire Forsyth is a son of the great Olympic champion For Pleasure
and is currently competing at grand prix jumping in Germany.
Falkland is shaped by two successful bloodlines: his sire Wanderer
is an "allround" producer who passes on to his progeny
jumping ability as well as talent for dressage. The sire of Falkland's
dam Pik König is renowned for producing excellent dressage
horses. Falkland himself is also a versatile producer. He passes
on to his offspring jumping ability as well as his very energetic
movements. His progeny also stands out for excellent rideability.
In 1999 his son Frenchman came second at the stallion performance
test in Adelsheidsdorf.
Lanthan is the leading Hanoverian sire in Germany for producing
both dressage and jumper performance horses. Lanthan sires versatile,
elegant, modern, large-framed horses of lovely type and with wonderful
temperaments. His breeding values for conformation in his daughters
are all excellent (Hannoveraner Jahrbuch Hengste 1999 2000, 2001).
Lanthan has produced 14 licensed sons and 65 States Premium Mares
in Germany
