The girl's name Felicia is pronounced feh-LEE-shah. It is of Latin
origin, and its means "lucky, fortunate, happy
We were very fortunate and are very happy to have been able to
be lucky enough to purchase this beautiful filly. Florencio will
have a major impact on the breeding world of dressage horses and
to add the rideabilty and refinement of Prince Thatch we think is
just a wonderful conbination.
For those who witnessed the Westfalian stallion and his Dutch
rider Hans Peter Minderhoud win the 2005 World Championships, phenomenon
"Florencio" was absolutely breath taking. Minderhoud reined
Florencio to two undisputed victories in the six-year old division.
In the qualifier , the pair won the class with a 9.38 total mark.
The judges awarded Florencio 9,60 for the trot, 9,70 for the canter
and 9,00 for the walk.
Prince Thatch XX is an outstanding and perhaps the best TB stallion
the Hanoverians have to offer, in that he produces all these assets
of a very modern warmblood and adds excellence in rideability and
gaits. He successfully completed his 11 months performance test
in Adelheidsdorf with an overall score of 126.68 (3rd), and 132.04(3rd)
in dressage. A rare feat for a TB stallion competing against all
warmbloods. To date he has produced approved sons, several SPS mares,
and high priced auction horses. He will likely be found in the pedigrees
of prized mares for generations to come.
Lanthan has also been quite influential as a refinement sire and
producer of both above average dressage and jumping horses. He has
14 licensed sons and 64 SPS mares and was 4th of 33 at his performance
test, with an overall score of 127.92
